Now On View

Camera obscura projections onto suspended sheets of frosted plexiglass.
Number of projections variable, each 48 in. x 48 in.

Now on View is a site-specific, multiple camera obscura installation that – similar to the aims of traditional photographers – brings the world beyond
the gallery walls into the gallery space. Unlike traditional photography, however, this installation encourages the act of seeing without recording and a
reconsideration of the preoccupation with the decisive moment.

Exhibited | Visual Studies Workshop’s Siskind Gallery | Sept. 8 – 30, 2007
